Marrick - Y6
6GC had a superb residential to Marrick Priory in North Yorkshire. The weather was excellent and the children took part in activities such as: raft building, canoeing, climbing, the leap of faith, orienteering and so much more!
They also may have fitted in a sneaky visit to the ice-cream parlour too!
Leavers' service 2019
What a brilliant way to say a fairwell and well done to our brilliant Year 6 children. Many of the children received awards to recognise their many acheivements at Broomfields Junior School. We wish them all the very best in the future.
PTA Summer Fair 2019
A huge thank you to our PTA and volunteers who made this year's Summer fair a huge success. Year 6 enjoyed running their own stalls to raise funds for their leavers' party. The money raised will go straight back into school to enhance the learning of the children.
Summer Arts Concert
The choir sung, musicians played and children entertained us with their dancing. The Summer Arts Concert this year had a real variety of talent to showcase to our parents. The winners from Broomfields' Got Talent also performed their routines one last time.
Ronnies' Race 2019
The children in Year 6 had a lovely afternoon competing for the Ronnie's Race Cup. They completed a course around the school grounds with the whole school cheering them on. It was a really enjoyable experience and Capsthorne were really proud to win the cup.
Sports' Day 2019
The sun shone and the children had a very enjoyable afternoon of sport. There were the usual running races alongside the activities to keep all children busy. Thank you to our friends and famillies that came along to support us on this afternoon.
